We built SnippetJet because we were tired of typing the same things over and over—emails, support replies, code chunks, product blurbs, you name it. Most tools we tried were either too clunky, too slow, or packed with features we didn’t need. So we made our own. SnippetJet is a super lightweight...

It has all the necessary features to easily manage and use reusable content. Other tools are either too simple or too complex, or copying content isn't so easy and fast as in SnippetJet.

We at Keyshorts.com needed a way to save and reuse lots of content: email messages, insta tags, reach sequences, snippets of code. We didn't find a tool to do this efficiently, so we built SnippetJet. It was in internal use for a couple of months, and our work in customer service and coding is both more efficient and faster.

Lua is quite small, encouraging distros to include it. The ubuntu gvim has, and the gvim AppImage linked from vim.org does. The default Makefile from github is set up to not include it, but you can uncomment one line there to get it. Source: over 3 years ago
I've not used vimwiki locally (tho I'm old enough to remember the Vim wiki on vim.org :), but I think what you are wanting to do is extend vimwiki's syntax file. I presume it installs one at $VIMRUNTIM/syntax or or ~/.vim/syntax. If... Source: almost 4 years ago
