Features and specs

What each product offers, as listed by its team.

SnapPChart 5 features
Candlestick 0 features
  • Setup Grading
Every chart comes back with a letter grade from A+ to F, scored against the same criteria each time, so your own bias does not move the result.
  • Entry, Stop and Targets
A concrete entry zone, a stop loss with the reasoning behind that level, and two profit targets with risk/reward and a scaling-out plan.
  • Explicit Bear Case
Each analysis names what invalidates the trade beyond the stop price, plus an alternative entry with its own risk/reward if the primary is missed.
  • Works From a Screenshot
It reads the image rather than a data feed, so it handles stocks, forex, crypto, futures and ETFs from TradingView, Webull, MetaTrader or any broker.
  • Position Sizing
A built-in calculator sizes the trade from your account size and risk percentage, so the plan is executable rather than theoretical.

Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing SnapPChart and Candlestick.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

SnapPChart's answer

Vercel, React, OpenAI

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

SnapPChart's answer

  • No new platform to learn. Screenshot your existing TradingView, ThinkOrSwim, MT4, whatever, and drop it in.
  • You get a grade, not just indicators. Tools like TrendSpider or TradingView hand you data and leave you to interpret it. SnapPChart tells you "this is a B+ setup, here's why, here's the plan."
  • Trade plan comes with everything you need to execute: entry, stop, T1, T2, scaling plan, bear case, alternative entry if you miss the first one.
  • Built by a trader who was sick of staring at charts and second-guessing every setup.
  • Pricing is flat. No per-symbol fees, no data add-ons.

What makes your product unique?

SnapPChart's answer

Most charting tool say that they can handle everything or users often ask why don't we just screenshot and put it to ChatGPT? Our tool is trained on momentum trading strategies with indicators that we know works and what defines a good/bad setup. The regular LLM will not be able to tell you that. Also, we understand mastering strategies are difficult, so we are focusing on momentum trading strategies now. We have fine-tuned the model to be good at recognising momentum entries and exits to cater for momentum traders.

Currently, we are expanding our strategies to cater for other strategies (FVG, Swing Trading etc) and are in the midst of testing them and iterating with them. We believe in generating quality analysis and will try our best to make sure our ai model can generate that for you.

Also, let me be honest, there is no 100% accuracy in trading, we just provide you with thorough analysis of the current chart to make your decision and hopefully provide you with an edge in the trade. We want to you to succeed, but at the end of the day, you take the risk, so trade at your own risk and always remember that day trading is risky.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

SnapPChart's answer

Retail day traders and swing traders who want a second opinion before they click buy. Mostly momentum traders (low float small caps, gap-and-go, bull flags, dip-and-rip), but it works for any discretionary trader who uses chart patterns.

The typical user is traders who has lost money on impulsive setups, and knows their problem isn't finding trades. It's filtering them. They use SnapPChart to grade every setup before they take it, and skip anything below a B.

Also popular with forex and crypto traders who trade outside US hours and don't have a community to bounce ideas off.

What's the story behind your product?

SnapPChart's answer

I'm a solo builder that trades momentum stocks on the side, mostly using the Ross Cameron playbooks. The problem I kept running into was that I'd see a setup, talk myself into it, enter, and get stopped out. Then I'd look back and realize the setup was mediocre from the start.

I wanted something that could look at a chart the way I look at a chart, but without the emotion, hence SnapPChart was born.

First version was for me. The grades actually matched my better trades, and flagged the ones I should have skipped. Put it online, people started paying for it and am trying to make this app the best grading analysis tool.
