Better is to find a business texting solution. For example Avochato has Slack integration. A quick google for "Business Texting" finds a lot of options, like SimpleTexting, or TextUs. Void is basically the same thing, but open source and better. It's easy to use with any provider API key, even LM Studio for local models.
