Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing SimplePosty and Crowdfire.

What makes your product unique?

SimplePosty's answer

Three things most schedulers at this price don't do:

  • Client approvals without accounts. Send a secure link; your client reviews the post exactly as it will publish and approves or requests changes. No seat, no login, no extra cost.
  • Blog to social, automatically. It writes blog posts and turns them into scheduled social content on its own, so one piece of work feeds both channels.
  • The platforms other tools skip. Bluesky, Mastodon and Threads alongside the usual LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, Pinterest, YouTube and WordPress.

Images are handled in-app too — upload, pull from Pexels, Unsplash or GIPHY, or generate one with AI, without leaving the composer.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

SimplePosty's answer

Agency features without agency pricing. Client approval workflows, multi-client workspaces and per-project permissions usually sit behind a $99+/mo tier elsewhere — here they start at $19/mo, and the free plan is permanent rather than a trial.

It also does more per post: one input produces a tailored caption for each network, plus the image, rather than pushing identical text everywhere.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

SimplePosty's answer

Small businesses and solo founders who post across several networks and don't want to pay enterprise prices, and small agencies or freelancers managing social for a handful of clients who need approvals and separate workspaces without buying a seat per client.

What's the story behind your product?

SimplePosty's answer

I'm a solo developer. I wanted one tool that wrote the post, made the image, handled client sign-off and published everywhere — and every option was either missing half of that or priced for a marketing team. So I built it.

SimplePosty publishes its own blog and social content using SimplePosty, which is a decent test: if it breaks, I'm the first to know.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

SimplePosty's answer

  • Next.js (App Router) and React with TypeScript
  • PostgreSQL with Prisma
  • Tailwind CSS
  • Stripe for billing
  • Inngest for background jobs and scheduled publishing
  • Cloudflare R2 for media storage
  • OpenAI for caption and image generation
