Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing SendMeLink and Cert Decoder.

What's the story behind your product?

SendMeLink's answer

SendMeLink was born out of the frustration shared by many creators: the "link in bio" bottleneck. We noticed that thousands of potential sales are lost every day because creators can't manually reply to every "Link please!" comment. We built SendMeLink to democratize automation, moving away from expensive, enterprise-only tools to create a platform where anyone can start monetizing their engagement in under a minute, regardless of their technical background or budget.

Cert Decoder's answer:

I built certdecoder.com over the weekend for my own needs. Sometimes in my work, I need to verify and check certificate details.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

SendMeLink's answer

endMeLink is built using a modern, high-performance stack to ensure 24/7 reliability. The core platform is developed using Next.js for a lightning-fast frontend and Supabase for secure backend data management. Our automation engine integrates directly with the Official Meta Graph API, and we use Razorpay Route for seamless marketplace payment processing, ensuring a secure and scalable environment for both creators and brands.

Cert Decoder's answer:

certdecoder.com was built using just JavaScript and HTML—simple, fast, and with all processing happening locally in your browser, so no certificate data is sent to any server

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

SendMeLink's answer

The primary audience for SendMeLink consists of Instagram creators, influencers, and Shopify store owners looking to automate their social commerce sales funnel. We specifically cater to emerging creators and small business owners who need professional-grade automation—like AI-powered replies and keyword detection—to manage high volumes of comments and convert them into revenue without a large marketing budget.

Cert Decoder's answer:

certdecoder.com is primarily built for developers, sysadmins, cybersecurity enthusiasts, and DevOps engineers.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

SendMeLink's answer

Users choose SendMeLink for its combination of unlimited engagement and zero-cost entry. While most automation tools charge per message or per follower, we provide a free tier with unlimited DMs to help you scale your business without financial friction. Additionally, as a verified Meta Business Partner, we offer official API integrations that keep your account safe, whereas many cheaper alternatives use risky "bot" methods that can lead to account bans.

Cert Decoder's answer:

Simple, fast, and reliable. Some similar tools can’t even decode basic certificates. I rigorously tested my tool with many real-world certificates and covered several edge cases where competitors fall short.

Who are some of the biggest customers of your product?

SendMeLink's answer

Shopify E-commerce Brands

Fashion & Lifestyle Influencers

Digital Product Creators

Social Media Marketing Agencies

High-Growth Content Creators

Cert Decoder's answer:

certdecoder.com is primarily built for developers, sysadmins, cybersecurity enthusiasts, and DevOps engineers.

What makes your product unique?

SendMeLink's answer

SendMeLink stands out as the only Instagram automation tool that offers unlimited replies and DMs at zero cost, specifically designed to empower small creators who are often priced out by other platforms. Unlike competitors that require complex Facebook Business Manager setups, we offer a 15-second "Direct Connect" process that links your Instagram account instantly. We focus on "Direct Exchange," ensuring your data and interactions are handled with maximum speed and privacy without unnecessary cloud detours.

Why? Because I built certdecoder.com and couldn’t find a decent place to submit it. So I said screw it — I’ll build my own. With blackjack and hookers. - Source: dev.to / over 1 year ago
