What makes your product unique?

SecuSpark's answer

The only CompTIA certification prep platform that combines four things competitors don't: (1) every practice question is written by certified IT professionals — not AI-generated like most app competitors, (2) a full RPG progression system (XP, levels, character sprites, weapons, PvP battles against other learners), (3) offline-first Progressive Web App architecture so you can study on planes, commutes, or anywhere Wi-Fi fails, and (4) an AI tutor that explains every wrong answer plus a statistical Exam Readiness Predictor that tells you when you're actually ready to sit the real exam. Built by a founder with ADHD who needed cert prep that didn't feel like punishment.

That's less than a single Udemy course. It also works fully offline, which none of the major competitors do.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

SecuSpark's answer

Self-taught IT learners, career-changers, and working helpdesk / sysadmin professionals studying for CompTIA certifications. Ages 22–45, heavy overlap with r/CompTIA and r/ITCareerQuestions communities. They've typically tried traditional prep tools (PDFs, static question banks) and bounced off because the material is dense and the format is boring. Secondary audience: IT bootcamps and corporate training programs looking for modern, measurable practice for their students and employees.

What's the story behind your product?

SecuSpark's answer

SecuSpark was built by Pawel Sloboda, an IT professional with ADHD who failed to stay engaged with traditional CompTIA prep — long PDFs, dry question banks, no feedback loops. While studying for Security+ himself, he kept thinking, "If Duolingo can make me stick with a language for years, why does cert prep feel like punishment?" He started building a prototype in late 2024, shipped the first public version in early 2025, and has iterated continuously with real learners since. The RPG gamification isn't a gimmick — it's an accessibility feature for anyone whose brain struggles with long, unstructured study sessions. Solo-built, offline-first, and deliberately priced to undercut every paid competitor in the space.
