Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing Scult Tools and LinuxPatch.com.

What makes your product unique?

Scult Tools's answer

Most "free" online tools aren't. You fill in the form, hit generate, and then hit a signup wall, a watermark, or a "2 of 3 free credits used" popup. Scult Tools has none of that — 15 tools, no account, no watermark, no usage cap, nothing to upgrade to.

Two things you won't find bundled elsewhere. First, it's built with India in mind: GST-ready invoicing and UPI payment QR codes are first-class features, not afterthoughts. Second, the AI Visibility Checker — instead of only optimising for Google, it tells you whether ChatGPT and other AI assistants actually mention your brand when someone asks for a recommendation.

The tools also run in your browser rather than on our servers, so what you type stays with you. And there's a library of 254 AI prompts organised by role alongside them.

LinuxPatch.com's answer:

LinuxPatch.com stands out due to its comprehensive, user-friendly approach to Linux patch management. Unlike other tools, it offers one-click updates, AI-powered CVE reporting, and a unique autopilot feature that automates patching across multiple Linux distributions. The platform also supports server grouping for targeted updates, ensuring efficient management even in complex environments. Additionally, its health checks monitoring feature ensures that systems remain stable post-update, making it an ideal solution for businesses prioritizing security and operational efficiency.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Scult Tools's answer

Because you'll finish the task instead of hitting a wall halfway through it.

No signup, no watermark on the output, no daily limits, no credit system, and no paid tier the free version is quietly crippled to sell. If you need one invoice, one QR code, or one block of schema markup, you get it in under a minute and leave.

It's also one site instead of fifteen. Most people bounce between a different sketchy tool site for every small job, each with its own popups. This is one bookmark covering SEO, invoicing, development, design and productivity.

The honest version of why it's free: we're a web and AI development studio. These tools started as internal utilities for our own team, and making them public is how people discover what we do. That's the entire business model — there's no bait and switch coming later.

LinuxPatch.com's answer:

LinuxPatch.com offers a distinctive blend of simplicity and power that sets it apart from competitors. Its one-click updates and autopilot feature simplify patch management, while AI-powered CVE reporting ensures you’re always ahead of potential threats. The platform supports multiple Linux distributions and includes server grouping for targeted updates, making it versatile for different environments. Health checks post-update provide added peace of mind, ensuring your systems remain stable and secure. For businesses seeking efficiency and robust security, LinuxPatch.com is the clear choice.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

Scult Tools's answer

Marketers, SEO specialists, freelancers, agency teams, small business owners and developers — people who need a specific small job done and don't want to sign up for a platform to do it.

Concretely: an SEO adding schema markup to a client page, a freelancer sending an invoice with GST, a shop owner printing a UPI QR for the counter, a developer pasting in messy JSON at 1am, a founder trying out business names, a designer checking whether their colour palette passes WCAG contrast.

The core is India — GST invoicing and UPI QRs reflect that — but nothing is region-locked, and tools like the JSON formatter, schema generator and word counter get used worldwide.

LinuxPatch.com's answer:

The primary audience for LinuxPatch.com consists of IT administrators, DevOps professionals, and security teams managing Linux-based servers and infrastructures. These individuals are responsible for maintaining system security, ensuring uptime, and managing patching processes across various Linux distributions. They prioritize automation, efficiency, and security in their workflows and seek tools that simplify patch management while providing robust protection against vulnerabilities. Businesses, especially those with complex or large-scale Linux environments, will find LinuxPatch.com particularly beneficial.

What's the story behind your product?

Scult Tools's answer

We run Scult, a web, app and AI development studio in Delhi NCR. Most of our clients are startups and local businesses without a software budget.

The same thing kept happening internally. Someone needed schema markup for a client page, or a QR code for a shop counter, or a quick invoice. They'd Google it, land on a free tool, fill in every field — and then get a watermark stamped across the output or a signup wall. Our team was losing time to this several times a week.

So we built our own version of the one we needed most. Then another. It got out of hand, and at fifteen we stopped and put them on one site.

The AI Visibility Checker came from a different frustration. Our clients kept asking where they showed up in Google, but more of their customers were asking ChatGPT for recommendations instead of searching. Nobody could tell them whether they appeared in those answers, so we built something that tries to.

LinuxPatch.com's answer:

LinuxPatch.com was born out of a need for a more efficient and user-friendly solution to managing Linux patches across diverse environments. The founders, experienced in IT and cybersecurity, recognized the challenges organizations face in keeping their Linux systems up-to-date and secure. They aimed to create a tool that simplifies this process through automation, AI-powered vulnerability management, and an intuitive interface. Their goal was to empower IT teams to maintain robust security with minimal manual intervention, leading to the creation of LinuxPatch.com.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

Scult Tools's answer

Next.js (App Router) with React Tailwind CSS Deployed on Vercel, served from the Mumbai edge region with static prerendering Client-side JavaScript for the tool logic — most tools compute entirely in the browser, so inputs aren't sent to a server Google Analytics 4 for page-level analytics

LinuxPatch.com's answer:

LinuxPatch.com is built using a modern stack of reliable and scalable technologies. It leverages a combination of cloud infrastructure for scalability and remote patch management, AI-driven algorithms for CVE vulnerability scanning and reporting, and lightweight, cross-platform agents for seamless deployment across various Linux distributions. The platform also integrates automated orchestration tools to streamline patch scheduling and execution. The focus on automation, security, and multi-distro support makes LinuxPatch.com a highly efficient solution for managing Linux servers.

Who are some of the biggest customers of your product?

Scult Tools's answer

Freelancers and independent consultants across India Small and mid-sized businesses handling their own marketing Digital marketing and SEO agencies Startup founders and early-stage product teams Web and app developers

LinuxPatch.com's answer:

LinuxPatch.com serves a diverse range of customers, including large enterprises, financial institutions, and tech companies that require robust security and efficient management of their Linux infrastructures.
