runcell (Jupyter AI agent) is an AI copilot built for notebooks. It understands your current kernel stateโvariables, DataFrame schemas, imports, outputsโand proposes the next best cell to move your work forward. With one command, it can draft code, execute it safely, validate the output, and automatically refine on errors. You get productionโquality cells (with comments and docstrings) and a clear audit trail of changes.
Whether youโre exploring data, transforming pipelines, or teaching with notebooks, runcell eliminates โsearchโcopyโpasteโdebugโ loops. It nudges work toward best practices (tests, assertions, checkpoints), and documents decisions for future youโor your teammates. Bring your own LLM keys, keep data in your environment, and control exactly what leaves your notebook.
Core capabilities
Naturalโlanguage to code
Drafts new cells or refactors existing ones from plainโEnglish prompts.
Incorporates notebook context (imports, variables, DataFrame dtypes, shapes) to produce runnable code.
Run, validate, iterate
Executes proposed cells, inspects outputs/exceptions, and autoโfixes common issues (missing imports, dtype mismatches, offโbyโone, plotting errors).
Contextโaware assistance
Explain cell: summarizes what a cell does and why.
Suggest next step: proposes analysis steps, visualizations, or checks based on your artifacts.
Inline docs: inserts comments, docstrings, and markdown rationale.
Environment & reproducibility
Detects missing packages and (optionally) generates a safe install cell; can export requirements.txt or environment.yml.
Data & visualization helpers
Quick EDA: profiling, missingโvalue maps, summary stats.
Transformations: joins, groupby, window ops, feature engineering.
Visuals: histograms, pairplots, line/bar charts, residual plots, interactive charts (e.g., Plotly).
Works smoothly with pandas, numpy, polars, matplotlib/plotly, and visualization helpers like pygwalker.
Eli is the first platform built entirely around the needs of parents raising children with ADHD. Most ADHD resources focus on the child โ Eli focuses on you, the parent. Because when parents are supported, kids thrive.
What Eli offers:
AI-Powered Letter Generator โ Generate personalized letters for teachers, IEP meetings, 504 plan requests, and school accommodations in seconds. Select your child's specific symptoms, choose a tone, and get a ready-to-send letter tailored to your situation.
14 Evidence-Based Parenting Scripts โ Real words to say (and what not to say) for the toughest ADHD parenting moments: meltdowns, homework refusal, bedtime struggles, screen time battles, morning routines, and more. Each script explains why it works and includes follow-up strategies.
Built by an ADHD Parent โ Eli was created by a parent who understands the daily reality of raising a child with ADHD. Every feature is designed to reduce overwhelm and give parents practical tools they can use immediately.
Completely Free โ No subscriptions, no paywalls, no accounts required. All tools are available at heyeli.io right now.

Runcell's answer
Runcell is the AI Agent designed for Jupyter users. It is not a simple chatbot, but an agent that can take control of your jupyter and work for you.
heyEli.io's answer:
Eli is the first platform focused entirely on the parent โ not the child โ in the ADHD equation. Instead of clinical resources about ADHD itself, Eli gives parents ready-to-use tools: AI-generated school letters and word-for-word scripts for everyday ADHD parenting situations.
Runcell's answer
Comparing with Code agent, like cursor, claude code, which are designed for software enginner, those agent does not understand data, visualization, very well. And when they coding, they directly generate all code without considering how the data distribute, what is the result of previous cells execution which are important for data science.
heyEli.io's answer:
Most ADHD resources are information-heavy but action-light. Eli skips the articles and gives you tools you can use in the moment โ a letter ready to send to your child's teacher, or the exact words to say during a meltdown. It's also 100% free with no account required.
heyEli.io's answer:
Parents and caregivers of children with ADHD, particularly those looking for practical strategies for daily challenges like homework refusal, school communication, emotional meltdowns, and morning routines.
heyEli.io's answer:
Eli was built by a tech dad raising a child with ADHD. After struggling to find resources that actually helped in the moment โ not just explain what ADHD is โ he built the tool he wished existed.
