Users can customize various aspects of their dashboards and analytic views, allowing for a more personalized experience based on individual needs.
  • Community Features
The platform includes community features such as forums and social sharing, which can help users connect with like-minded individuals and share insights.

Possible disadvantages of Runalyze

  • Complex Interface
The interface can be complex and overwhelming for new users due to the extensive range of metrics and customizable options available.
  • Limited Mobile App Support
Runalyze primarily exists as a web application, and its mobile support is limited, which can be inconvenient for users who prefer managing their data on the go.
  • Learning Curve
Due to the vast array of features, new users might face a steep learning curve when first getting started with the platform.
  • Limited Real-Time Analytics
Unlike some other fitness tracking apps, Runalyze does not offer extensive real-time tracking and analytics, which could be a drawback for users looking for live performance data.
  • Dependency on External Data Sources
Runalyze heavily relies on data imported from external devices and platforms. If these integrations experience issues, users could face difficulties in maintaining accurate records.

php eventloop features and specs

  • Simple and lightweight
The library provides a minimalistic implementation of an event loop in PHP, making it easy to understand and integrate into small projects without heavy dependencies.
  • Educational value
As a straightforward PHP event loop implementation, it serves as a great learning resource for developers wanting to understand how event loops and asynchronous programming concepts work under the hood in PHP.
  • Non-blocking I/O support
The library enables non-blocking I/O operations in PHP, allowing developers to handle multiple tasks concurrently without relying on multi-threading, which PHP does not natively support well.
  • Timer and periodic task support
It provides built-in support for timers and periodic tasks, enabling developers to schedule recurring operations or delayed execution within the event loop.
  • Pure PHP implementation
The library is written in pure PHP without requiring external C extensions, making it portable and easy to install across different PHP environments without special compilation steps.

Possible disadvantages of php eventloop

  • Limited community and support
The project has a very small community with minimal stars, forks, and contributors on GitHub, which means limited peer support, fewer bug reports, and potentially slower issue resolution.
  • Not production-ready
Given its small scale and limited adoption, the library may not be battle-tested enough for production environments where reliability, performance, and stability are critical.
  • Limited features compared to alternatives
More established PHP async libraries like ReactPHP, AmpPHP, and others offer far more comprehensive ecosystems with HTTP servers, database clients, and stream handling that this library lacks.
  • Performance limitations
Being a pure PHP implementation without leveraging extensions like ev, libuv, or swoole, the event loop may suffer from performance bottlenecks compared to extension-backed alternatives when handling high concurrency.
  • Poor documentation
The repository has minimal documentation and examples, making it difficult for new users to understand the full API, edge cases, and best practices for using the library effectively.

  • Richmond Marathon Report: Nine Weeks Between Training Block and Goal Race
I wasn't sure where to set expectations given my interrupted training, but I decided to aim for 3:03:00, as that's where my Garmin and Runalyze predicted my finish. I planned to set out at a 6:55/mi pace and adjust based on feel. Source: almost 3 years ago
  • Baystate Marathon Race Report: A "BQ" and a 40 minute PR
Pre-race, Garmin estimated a 3:00:xx, and Runalyze, another great website, thought I'd hit 3:01:xx. This was slightly discouraging, but I know they're just estimates so I didn't take it personally. Source: almost 3 years ago

Has anyone else tried Runalyze (https://runalyze.com) to track running progress and performance? Source: about 3 years ago
  • How do you keep track of race results?
Https://runalyze.com/ is a great tool that can do this! Source: about 3 years ago
  • A slightly embarassing question...
I'm currently 5'9" and 82kg and just ran a half marathon in 1:47 a few weeks back. I lost weight while training, but started off barely being able to break an 11 minute mile back in October. The 255 would work just fine for you. If you enjoy the data side of things, there are great sites that link up to Garmin (I use runalyze.com and intervals.icu) for more information.
