Features and specs

What each product offers, as listed by its team.

RouterBase 5 features
flo2 5 features
  • Simplified Multi-Model Integration
RouterBase likely allows developers to connect to multiple LLM providers (like OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) through a single unified API, reducing the complexity of managing multiple SDKs and authentication methods.
  • Cost Optimization
By routing requests intelligently across different models based on cost and performance requirements, RouterBase can help reduce overall API spending compared to using a single premium provider for all requests.
  • Fallback and Reliability
Having automatic failover between providers means if one AI service experiences downtime or rate limiting, requests can be automatically routed to alternative providers, improving application uptime.
  • Simplified Developer Experience
A unified interface reduces the learning curve for developers who need to work with multiple AI providers, as they only need to learn one API pattern instead of several different vendor-specific implementations.
  • Flexibility in Model Selection
Teams can experiment with and switch between different AI models without having to rewrite significant portions of their application code, making it easier to adopt new models as they become available.
  • Smart LLM routing
One unified API key routes to any mix of providers and models; pin a default, restrict to a few, or open to your whole key collection
  • Fallback chains
If the primary model errors, flo2 slides to the next fallback automatically; drag to reorder priority
  • AI racing
Fire models in parallel; the fastest to answer wins
  • A/B Testing
Shadow new models against your live setup; a judge model scores which performs better
  • Cost Transparency
Every call logs tokens, throughput and computed cost across providers
