Hi, to downgrade you have to download the Catalina installer, look it up on safari and should appear as an App Store link, then after it downloads you need a usb drive preferably 16Gb, then with this link download an app that makes bootable usb drives. When you download any of the above keep in mind it will start the download trough the update of the system, let the update continue to be downloaded, after the download is complete it wil start the update or it will point you to an older version. This is what I do, in fact I bought a few cheap 32 GB USB-drives on Amazonโa 5-pack costs maybe $25โand install different versions of macOS on them when need be.
