   RetailMeNot: Solid Savings Tool, Just Don’t Expect Every Deal to Work

   I’ve been using RetailMeNot on and off for a while, and overall it’s a helpful site if you like hunting for discounts before checking out online. It’s super easy to use, and I like that you can quickly search a store and see available promo codes or cashback offers without much effort.

   That said, it’s a bit hit or miss. Some codes work perfectly and save you a decent amount, while others are expired or have restrictions that aren’t obvious until checkout. When it works, it’s great. When it doesn’t, it can feel like a waste of time trying multiple codes.

   I also appreciate the cashback feature, but it’s not always as competitive as other cashback apps, and it can take a while to track. Still, for a quick check before you buy something, it’s worth using.

   👎 Cons:    Some promo codes don’t work or are expired|Cashback rates can be lower than competitors

  If you should decide to try Catherine's again, try doing a google search for Catherines Free Shipping or something like that. I often find a free shipping code on retailmenot.com Same with a lot of other stores. I've happened on coupons and ended up with unexpected discounts. There are a few coupon sites out there.   Protect yourself by first pulling your FICO score (go to MyFico and pull your own score, and you can get a coupon from retailmenot.com) and shop around. You can shop around for rates without a hard pull so you know how much car you can afford for the interest rate you would qualify for with that FICO. When you pull your own FICO this way, it doesn't count as a hard pull and puts more knowledge in your hands. Source: about 4 years ago

  I'm in Canada, too. Lands' End has fast shipping to Canada, and I've bought a lot of quality basics from them.
