RentPost was founded in the aftermath of the financial crisis in 2008. As the real estate market was shifting, and our own investment prospectus focused around the rental market, it was born out of the need to collect rent online and manage tenant relationships.

Every engineer I know who ships to production now SSHs into a box they didn't provision, edits files with whatever editor is installed, and commits from a terminal.
