Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing RemovePDFPages and DocParser.

What makes your product unique?

RemovePDFPages's answer

Most PDF tools watermark your download, force a subscription, or make you sign up before you can do anything. RemovePDFPages keeps the four core tasks โ€” Remove Pages, Merge, Compress, Sign โ€” genuinely free, with no signup and no watermark. When you need PDF-to-Word, you can subscribe or buy a one-time $59 license. We also process files in your browser by default, so they donโ€™t touch our server unless you use Convert to Word.

What's the story behind your product?

RemovePDFPages's answer

It came from frustration. Every simple PDF edit โ€” delete one page, merge two files, compress for email โ€” meant either a watermark, a signup wall, or a subscription. I wanted a tool that handled the basics for free and only charged for the genuinely hard stuff.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

RemovePDFPages's answer

Because simple PDF tasks should actually be free, and paid features should have a fair exit door.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

RemovePDFPages's answer

Freelancers, remote workers, and small teams in the US who handle contracts, invoices, proposals, and other PDFs regularly but donโ€™t want Adobe-level complexity or another forced subscription.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

RemovePDFPages's answer

Next.js frontend on Cloudflare Pages, browser-side PDF processing for free tools, Cloudflare Workers for PDF-to-Word, Creem as Merchant of Record for payments/tax, and Plausible for privacy-friendly analytics.

Who are some of the biggest customers of your product?

RemovePDFPages's answer

Weโ€™re early, so we donโ€™t have โ€œbiggest customersโ€ yet. Most users are individual freelancers and small teams. Weโ€™re not chasing enterprise accounts โ€” the product is intentionally scoped for people who just need to get PDF tasks done quickly.
