The changelog was always the last thing anyone wrote and the first thing that fell off. ReleasePad's premise is that if it isn't announced, it didn't happen: buyers check your pulse before they pay, and now AI assistants answer questions about your product whether or not you've given them anything accurate to read. The June 2026 launch of machine-readable Markdown output made that second audience explicit, your changelog now has human readers and agent readers, and both should get the same source of truth.
