RealEvents is the fastest way to get people together without making anyone create an account.

An event page in 10 seconds

You create an event page in about 10 seconds: title, date, place. Pick an occasion template and a theme, add a cover, write the details. You get two links: a public page to share, and a private management link that is yours only. No signup, for you or your guests.

RSVPs without accounts

Guests RSVP in one click: going, maybe, or can't make it, with a note and plus-ones if you allow them. Guests only need an email if they're actually coming; a "maybe" or a "can't make it" needs nothing at all. The email is used for the event details, updates from the organizer, and an automatic reminder the day before. No phone number, ever.

Everything runs from one private link

Invite people by pasting your email list, message all guests at once when plans change, download a QR code to print for the door, track capacity without overselling, duplicate an event for the next edition, and get a recap with your final headcount and a one-click guest-list download once it's over. No dashboard to learn.

Privacy is the whole point

No accounts, no data selling, hosted in the EU, GDPR by default. Guests can export or delete their own data themselves, and events stay unlisted unless you decide otherwise.

Free for free events

If your event is free, RealEvents is free.

Selling tickets? Today you can drop your payment link in the description and still pay nothing: ticketing isn't built yet. When it ships, fees will only ever apply to tickets sold, never to RSVPs and never to free events.

Built solo, shaped by feedback threads on Reddit, most of what's in the product was asked by users. Tell me what's missing and there's a decent chance it ships.

RealEvents features and specs

  • No accounts, for anyone
Create and manage events without signing up. Guests RSVP from a link. No app, no passwords, no phone numbers collected.
  • Event page live in 10 seconds
Three fields and your page is online. Settings come after, and only the ones that matter.
  • RSVPs that give real headcounts
Guests answer going, maybe, or can't make it, and add a personal note. Plus-ones are counted toward capacity, so nothing oversells.
  • Emails that actually arrive
Automatic day-before reminders, one-click messages to all guests, and a post-event recap with your numbers. No spam folder drama.
  • Private by default
Event pages are unlisted and hidden from search engines like Google unless you decide otherwise. Guests can see who else is coming only if you allow it.
  • Privacy-first, EU-hosted
GDPR-native, hosted in Europe, no ads, no tracking of your guests, no selling data. Your guest list is yours.
  • Free for free events
Hosting a free event costs nothing, with every core feature included. Available in five languages (EN, FR, DE, ES, PL)

php eventloop features and specs

  • Simple and lightweight
The library provides a minimalistic implementation of an event loop in PHP, making it easy to understand and integrate into small projects without heavy dependencies.
  • Educational value
As a straightforward PHP event loop implementation, it serves as a great learning resource for developers wanting to understand how event loops and asynchronous programming concepts work under the hood in PHP.
  • Non-blocking I/O support
The library enables non-blocking I/O operations in PHP, allowing developers to handle multiple tasks concurrently without relying on multi-threading, which PHP does not natively support well.
  • Timer and periodic task support
It provides built-in support for timers and periodic tasks, enabling developers to schedule recurring operations or delayed execution within the event loop.
  • Pure PHP implementation
The library is written in pure PHP without requiring external C extensions, making it portable and easy to install across different PHP environments without special compilation steps.

Possible disadvantages of php eventloop

  • Limited community and support
The project has a very small community with minimal stars, forks, and contributors on GitHub, which means limited peer support, fewer bug reports, and potentially slower issue resolution.
  • Not production-ready
Given its small scale and limited adoption, the library may not be battle-tested enough for production environments where reliability, performance, and stability are critical.
  • Limited features compared to alternatives
More established PHP async libraries like ReactPHP, AmpPHP, and others offer far more comprehensive ecosystems with HTTP servers, database clients, and stream handling that this library lacks.
  • Performance limitations
Being a pure PHP implementation without leveraging extensions like ev, libuv, or swoole, the event loop may suffer from performance bottlenecks compared to extension-backed alternatives when handling high concurrency.
  • Poor documentation
The repository has minimal documentation and examples, making it difficult for new users to understand the full API, edge cases, and best practices for using the library effectively.

Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing RealEvents and php eventloop.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

RealEvents's answer

Anyone organizing a small to medium event who doesn't want to deal with complex software. Community organizers running meetups, teams planning offsites, people hosting birthday parties or networking events, startup founders running demo nights. The common thread is they want something that works in seconds, not something they need to learn.

What's the story behind your product?

RealEvents's answer

I spent 20 years in the financial services industry where every firm organizes events for clients and partners. I watched people use spreadsheets, Google Forms, and overly complex platforms for what should be simple: create a page, share a link, see who's coming. I built RealEvents as the tool I wished existed - the fastest path from "I want to organize something" to "here's your event page, share it."

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

RealEvents's answer

Rails API backend with PostgreSQL, Vue.js frontend with Vite and Tailwind CSS. Server-side rendering for search engine crawlers. Hosted on a dedicated European server with SSL and automated deployments.

Who are some of the biggest customers of your product?

RealEvents's answer

RealEvents is used by individual organizers and small teams worldwide. Being a young product, we focus on community-driven growth rather than enterprise logos. Events have been created organically by organizers in the US, UK, and Europe across meetups, birthday parties, and professional gatherings.

What makes your product unique?

RealEvents's answer

RealEvents requires no account from anyone - not the organizer, not the guests. You type a title, pick a date, and your event page is live in 10 seconds. No signup, no password, no phone number collected. You manage your event through a private link, guests RSVP from a link, and pages are private by default - unlisted and hidden from search engines unless you decide otherwise. Available in five languages (EN, FR, DE, ES, PL).

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

RealEvents's answer

Most event platforms require an account, a dashboard to learn, and 15-30 minutes of setup. RealEvents removes that friction: your page is live in seconds, guests RSVP in one click, and you get automatic reminders, QR codes, calendar integration, CSV export, and an embed widget - free for free events. If your event is primarily about selling tickets today, a dedicated ticketing platform will serve you better. If you need a clean page, real RSVPs, and guests who never have to create an account, RealEvents is the fastest way there.
