Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing React Complex Tree and BallIQ.app.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

BallIQ.app's answer:

Depth. 4,000+ hand-written, fact-checked questions spanning the World Cup, Premier League, Champions League, La Liga, Serie A and the Bundesliga, plus 20+ club packs from Arsenal to Galatasaray. Free, no sign-up to start playing, and no ads in the app.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

BallIQ.app's answer:

React and Vite for the web app, Capacitor for the iOS and Android builds, Supabase (Postgres, RLS, realtime) for auth, sync and live multiplayer, hosted on Vercel.

What makes your product unique?

BallIQ.app's answer:

Every answer is explained. Most football quizzes just say "wrong" and move on โ€” Ball IQ gives you a fact-checked hint explaining why, so playing feels like learning rather than being tested. All 4,000+ questions are hand-curated, not scraped.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

BallIQ.app's answer:

Football fans who like the details โ€” people who argue about records and remember old squads. Split between daily-puzzle players (Footle, Daily 7) and friends playing head-to-head in live multiplayer.

What's the story behind your product?

BallIQ.app's answer:

It started from a frustration: almost every football quiz online is shallow, and when you get one wrong it just says "wrong" and moves on. Ball IQ explains every answer. It's an independent project, built and maintained in Norway.
