  • Peer-to-peer file transfers in the browser
Https://rdrop.link gives you six characters. It's IMHO "telephoneable". - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago
  • Sharing between ipad and android phone
Or if that does not work for some reason, there's rDrop, which is a P2P file sharing service with NO limit on file size. Source: over 3 years ago
  • What do you think is the best overall smartdevice ecosystem today

  • I want to transfer a file from my computer to my friend's computer by using torrent. How can I do it without seeding to anyone else?
Try https://rdrop.link/ It's really useful for those cases. Source: over 4 years ago

The alternatives I used in the past was AirDroid, but honestly it's so much simpler with rDrop, no wires, no uploading files to an external server and no need to install an app! (It also works everywhere, windows, mac, linux,... Source: over 4 years ago
