NetlifyAs someone who is often creating new pages, Netlify's preview makes the review process easier. You can also use the generated URL from Netlify's preview to run an SEO audit prior to going live. This is very useful for spotting bugs or broken redirects.
Based on our record, Netlify seems to be a lot more popular than R Markdown. While we know about 114 links to Netlify, we've tracked only 6 mentions of R Markdown. We are tracking product recommendations and mentions on various public social media platforms and blogs. They can help you identify which product is more popular and what people think of it.
Now, I'm starting to focus on what can be done around geol outputs to automate reporting, with a professional data-stack, like Rmarkdown or quarto to make professional looking technical debt reports. - Source: dev.to / 8 months ago
I had a feeling that it is similar to R markdown https://rmarkdown.rstudio.com. - Source: Hacker News / 11 months ago
I am surprised they didn't mention RMarkdown (https://rmarkdown.rstudio.com/), which was developed in parallel to Jupyter Notebooks, with lots of convergent evolution. RMarkdown is essentially Markdown with executable code blocks. While it comes from an R background, code blocks can be written in any language (and you can mix multiple languages). The biggest difference (and, I would say, advantage) is that it... - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago
Reminds me a lot of rmarkdown - which allows you to run many languages in a similar fashion https://rmarkdown.rstudio.com/. - Source: Hacker News / almost 2 years ago
I'm surprised to see no one has pointed out [RMarkdown + RStudio](https://rmarkdown.rstudio.com) as one way to immediately interface with Pandoc. I used to write papers and slides in LaTeX (using vim, because who needs render previews), then eventually switched to Pandoc (also vim). I eventually discovered RMarkdown+RStudio. I was looking for a nice way to format a simple table and discovered that rmarkdown had... - Source: Hacker News / over 2 years ago
When we benchmarked this against other services, we could not find another service that could import and run even modestly complex projects in the way described above. Many platforms are excellent at running frontend applications, such as Netlify and Vercel, but we have not found any that really try to handle full-stack projects, monorepos, development environments, production environments, databases, and service... - Source: dev.to / 4 months ago
Deployed on Vercel or Netlify โ free tier, automatic deploys from GitHub. - Source: dev.to / 5 months ago
For developers building for the web, understanding these trends is increasingly important. Users are becoming more privacy-conscious and seeking alternatives to algorithmic feeds. Tools like Netlify and Vercel are making it easier than ever to deploy independent websites, while privacy-focused tools like 1Password are helping users manage their digital identities across multiple platforms. - Source: dev.to / 5 months ago
All three themes are designed for accessible deployment. You can host them for free on Netlify, GitHub Pages, Vercel, or Cloudflare Pages. The only cost is a domain name (which can be as cheap as $5/year on Porkbun). - Source: dev.to / 6 months ago
Another hosting alternative similar to Github pages. Netlify can support dynamic sites too, but with limitations. Try it now at: Https://netlify.com. - Source: dev.to / about 1 year ago
