You upload a product photo, choose a model and a scenery from a prepared library, and receive around ten on-model shots that share the same face, the same lighting and the same location, together with packshots and short vertical video. Because models and sceneries are prepared assets rather than prompts, the same setup can be reproduced months later for a new product, so an entire catalogue stays visually coherent. Any AI tool can produce one convincing product photo. The tenth one, still looking like it came from the same shoot, is the hard part, and that is the problem Qamera AI was built to solve. There is no prompt engineering anywhere in the product, so the quality of the result does not depend on who is writing the instructions. It was developed for swimwear and lingerie, the categories where skin tone, fabric behaviour and fit are hardest to keep believable, which makes the rest of apparel comparatively straightforward. The platform launched in February 2026 under the name Shorts Lab and was renamed Qamera AI a month later, as the focus moved from short video towards complete product photography sessions. It grew out of work on the hardest visual category we could find: swimwear and lingerie, where image models routinely fail on skin, fabric and fit. Solving consistency there produced the mechanism the product now runs on, which is selection from prepared assets instead of prompting.
