If you are learning, use pythonanywhere.com as they specialize in python, and make setup easy. Only $5 a month. Start with a barebones flask app, get it to run, then follow a tutorial. Actually better to build the app locally, easier to test with IDE like Pycharm. Then upload to the net. Source: about 3 years ago

Yep that was my inspiration! I was also playing a lot of City guesser (https://virtualvacation.us/guess) lately but wasn't too happy with multiplayer. Touring Test has a robust backend so multiplayer should work and scale well, if the game becomes somewhat popular I will add public matchmaking where you can play against players of similar skill level. My work team and I like to play City Guesser at the end of the week to unwind sometimes and we noticed the past couple of months that it hasn't been working. When we try to create a Multiplayer room, we get an error (see below). It doesn't seem to matter if you refresh, clear cache/cookies, try a different browser, different computer, or location. Has anyone else noticed this issue and is there an ETA on when it... Source: over 3 years ago
