We are still using this and been working for us for ~15 years (python 2, ported to python 3) and this is just an example of how to take https://fabfile.org to the extreme but still is not the best way to do it.     Maybe you could create an org chart for your team so that you can see their names and pictures and visualize where each of them sits in your company's hierarchy? I've tried creating org charts on Organimi and I find it really useful and easy to use.
