I do hobby programing. It is sometimes to create something (supposedly) useful. Lately though it is more discovery and a little math like. I enjoy Project Euler (https://projecteuler.net/. Most of the readers should know Docker, perhaps Podman or LxC/Incus. Maybe OpenVZ was one of your tool in the past. In fact, those projects are userland interfaces to control Linux namespaces and cgroups.
