What's the story behind your product?

SideWorks.app's answer:

I built Email Templates for Gmail™ after repeatedly answering the same support questions for apps I publish on Google and Apple platforms. Gmail's built-in templates became difficult to maintain as the library grew: editing was awkward and fast search was missing. Other tools were either local-only, geared toward decorative or marketing emails, or did not offer a practical path to mobile Gmail. SideWorks focuses on speed and utility: straightforward editing, fast search, synchronization across devices, and very little visual clutter. I use it myself for this workflow.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

SideWorks.app's answer:

Email Templates for Gmail™ uses JavaScript, HTML, and CSS in a Chrome Manifest V3 extension, plus Google Apps Script and CardService for the Gmail Add-on. Its shared synchronization backend runs on Node.js in Google Cloud Run, with Cloud Firestore for data storage and Firebase Authentication with Google Sign-In for Chrome users.
