PlayFSL is fantasy sports played with real companies instead of athletes. You draft 7 real U.S. companies in a snake draft, then each week you start 5 and rank them by conviction: your #1 counts 5x and your #5 counts 1x, so the order matters as much as the picks. Scores move live during market hours, and it is free, with no real money involved.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

PlayFSL's answer:

Most stock market games are trading simulators: you get virtual cash to build a portfolio. PlayFSL is a league instead. You draft against other players, set a ranked lineup each week, and follow the standings and head-to-head matchups until the highest total at the end of the season takes the title. Seasons last 4 or 8 weeks, it is free, and there are no bets, buy-ins or payouts. You can try a 2-minute practice draft first, with no account.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

PlayFSL's answer:

Friends, coworkers and family who want a season-long competition (1 or 2 month) to play together, especially people who enjoy fantasy sports and people curious about the stock market. No investing experience is needed. Anyone without a group can join a free public league, which drafts every Sunday at 3 PM ET.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

PlayFSL's answer:

PlayFSL is a web app built with Next.js, React and TypeScript, on a Postgres database hosted by Supabase. It runs on Vercel, with the weekly scoring jobs on Cloudflare Workers. It installs to a phone's home screen from the browser, with push notifications, and nothing comes from an app store.
