What's the story behind your product?

ProjexPilot grew out of real frustration on both sides of the contractor-homeowner relationship: payments and milestones were the constant friction point, and existing tools either buried the draw schedule inside billing or were too expensive and complex for a small shop. ProjexPilot was built to put the job, the money, and the milestones in one place that both the contractor and the homeowner can trust — starting with the draw-schedule and retainage engine that most tools treat as an afterthought.

What makes your product unique?

ProjexPilot is built around the money and the milestones — the things contractors and homeowners actually fight about. Unlike tools that bury payments inside "progress billing," ProjexPilot leads with a draw-schedule engine: milestone draws, automatic retainage, and inspection and lien-waiver gates that hold a payment until it's earned. You can also import an existing spreadsheet to start in minutes instead of rebuilding a job from scratch, and homeowners get a real seat — approving draws and change orders from a free portal, not just viewing a read-only page.

Flutter (Dart) for the web app, Supabase (PostgreSQL, authentication, storage, and row-level security) for the backend, Stripe for payments, and Cloudflare for hosting.
