  1. CEO

Real easy to use-- at first. As time went on it got harder and harder to get it to work. Finally it 'lost' my password, so I couldn't use it, and 'Support' never got back to me; but they did send me a 'customer satisfaction survey.' Hah!

    👎 Cons:    No customer support!

  • Americans are spending billions on stuff they forget to cancel
I use a service called Privacy [1] to generate virtual card numbers, which I than use with all of my subscriptions. All of the virtual cards are tied to a physical credit card used as the funding source. I get a notification every time a card is charged or a charge is denied (if it's above the set limit or no longer active). This has saved me from fraud where a single-use virtual card # I used to pay for airport... - Source: Hacker News / 4 months ago

Privacy.com is a good one - but I just paypal from temu/ali. Source: 5 months ago

One more option I can think of trying is using privacy.com with you debit card. Source: 5 months ago
  • Gift cards that work with tutanota.com? Or private virtual cards?
Ideally would be something I could buy anonymously with cash since I want to use it on a health related site, but I'd accept a private/name hidden card at least. Not sure if privacy.com cards, wise, or others might work with it. Source: 5 months ago

Lol, Also helpful tip. If you're going to use Fubo you should also use privacy.com. It lets you set up single use cards with spending limits so you don't accidently get charged. You can cancel the cards at anytime too. Source: 5 months ago

This is very nice, might I also recommend: Cardpointers. I am not affiliated in any way, just a satisfied user. They also have a Cardpointers Reddit. The developer is very active on that reddit. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Amex AI to track where we shop to suggest Amex offers
Shoutout to the CardPointers app and browser extension. You just log into your CC account and it’ll detect you’re on a banking page and add all the offers. Source: about 1 year ago
  • I made the app CardPointers to help you maximize the points, cash back, and offers on all of your cards, and just added the most-requested features on every platform (and HBD, it's 4 years old now 🎂)
Hi all, I'm Emmanuel, the indie developer who's been working on the CardPointers app which launched right here on r/CreditCards almost exactly 4 years ago, and have been super busy the last few months adding in all of the most-requested features from y'all -- thank you so much for all of the awesome feedback! Source: about 1 year ago
  • Is there not an app that tells me all current cash back and offers from credit cards? No app I’ve downloaded does this.
I trialed CardPointers which sounds like part of what you’re looking for. It was good for credit card rewards, but the yearly cost for Pro didn’t seem worth it to me. I already have a general grasp of which credit card to use though. Source: about 1 year ago
  • New way to easily earn the most points on every purchase with lock screen widgets and app shortcuts added to CardPointers 4; Apple is featuring it as a Great App for iOS 16 this week 🤯
Hi all, I'm the indie developer making the app CardPointers, which I launched right here back in 2019 to help users know which of their credit cards to use to get the most points or cash back on every purchase. Since then it has launched on every platform, with Android in January. Source: over 1 year ago
