Does anyone have any experience of building a competitor price monitoring site like Prisync and Price2Spy? How would you go about doing this? Is it a case of building a custom scraper for each ecommerce site that you want to monitor, or is there a much more "simpler" way that will allow me to have access to a lot more sites? If you need something better than automated transcription, and you're willing to pay for it or you can convince your department to pay for it, then something like rev.com or gotranscript.com will provide you with much better quality for more money.
