PricePush automates localized pricing for mobile apps across App Store Connect and Google Play.

Most indie developers use one global price for in-app purchases and subscriptions. Charging $9.99 in both the US and India means
lost conversions in 170+ countries.

Setting country-specific prices manually means navigating two consoles, mapping price tiers, handling 44 currencies, and repeating it when exchange rates shift.

How PricePush works:

  • Connect your App Store Connect and Google Play accounts
  • Calculate localized prices using PPP data for 175+ countries
  • Review changes with conflict detection and large-jump warnings
  • Push updated prices to both stores in one tap

Key features:

  • Both stores from one screen
  • PPP-based pricing with custom rounding
  • Multi-account support
  • Price tier mapping for Apple and Google
  • Safety checks before every push

Starts at $9/month. Lifetime deal available.

assertpy features and specs

  • Fluent API
Assertpy offers a fluent API that makes assertions more readable and expressive, enabling developers to write assertions in a natural language style that is easy to understand.
  • Chainable Assertions
It allows for chainable assertions, enabling multiple checks to be performed in a single line of code, thereby reducing verbosity and enhancing clarity.
  • Comprehensive Assertion Methods
The library provides a wide range of built-in assertion methods, catering to various types of data validations, such as checking for size, type, value, and more.
  • Extensibility
Assertpy supports extending its functionality by defining custom assertions, allowing developers to tailor it to their specific needs.
  • Pythonic
Designed with Pythonic principles in mind, Assertpy fits seamlessly into Python projects, enabling idiomatic and consistent code style.

Possible disadvantages of assertpy

  • Learning Curve
Developers new to the library may encounter a learning curve due to the distinct approach of using fluent and chainable assertions as opposed to traditional methods.
  • Limited by Python Version
The library may have limitations in terms of compatibility with older versions of Python, requiring users to ensure their environment is up-to-date.
  • Performance Overhead
The additional abstraction layer introduced by a fluent interface might introduce some performance overhead, especially in performance-critical or resource-constrained environments.
  • Less Community Support
Compared to more established testing libraries, Assertpy might have less community support and fewer resources available for resolving issues or getting help.
  • Dependency Management
Using a third-party library introduces additional dependencies to manage, which could complicate project maintenance and compatibility.

Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing PricePush.app and assertpy.

What makes your product unique?

PricePush.app's answer

PricePush is the only tool that manages pricing for both App Store Connect and Google Play from a single screen. It uses Purchasing Power Parity (PPP) data to calculate fair prices for 175+ countries, maps them to each store's price tiers, and pushes updates directly. No spreadsheets, no switching between consoles.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

PricePush.app's answer

  • Most pricing tools are enterprise-priced ($49+/app/month) and focus on one store
  • PricePush starts at $9/month with a lifetime deal available
  • Supports both stores with multiple developer accounts in one plan
  • Highlights price conflicts and large jumps before pushing, so there are no surprises

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

PricePush.app's answer

Indie app developers, small studios, and solo founders who sell in-app purchases or subscriptions on the App Store and Google Play. Developers who know they should localize prices but don't have the time to manually update hundreds of price points across 175 countries.

What's the story behind your product?

PricePush.app's answer

I'm Antonio Cappiello, a solo developer who's been shipping mobile apps for 10 years. I kept losing revenue because my apps had a single global price. Setting country-specific prices manually across both stores took days and had to be repeated every time currencies shifted. I built PricePush to solve this for myself, then realized every indie dev has the same problem.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

PricePush.app's answer

  • Next.js
  • React
  • MongoDB
  • Node.js
  • App Store Connect API
  • Google Play Developer API
