Gitmore.io's answer:
Gitmore represents a thoughtful approach to democratizing Git repository intelligence, successfully addressing the common challenge of extracting actionable insights from complex development activities. The platformโs combination of AI-powered analysis, cross-platform compatibility, and business-friendly reporting creates compelling value for teams seeking to improve visibility into development progress without investing in comprehensive engineering analytics platforms.
Powabase's answer
Powabase is designed for developers and serious vibe coders familiar with coding agents interested in building AI-native applications. Powabase is also ideal for agency owners looking to expand their service offerings into full-stack application development and managed hosting.
Powabase's answer
We, the founders of Powabase, have been running an AI dev shop since ChatGPT first came out. After many client projects we noticed the same pattern repeating itself. Nearly every AI-native app ends up needing the same stack: Postgres, a vector store, RAG pipelines, an agent runtime, memory, auth, and file storage.
Today you stitch that together from 6โ8 tools, write a lot of glue code, and then watch your coding agent burn tokens navigating it. We've built ~100 production AI apps across regulated industries โ finance, insurance, education, government โ and the infra glue was always the slowest, most expensive part.
So we abstracted it into a unified backend. Powabase is the backend we wished we'd had โ and now every new AI project we take on ships in a fraction of the time.

Powabase's answer
Powabase is built for how AI apps are actually developed and run today.
It starts with token efficiency. During the build, clean, predictable APIs let AI coding agents do more with fewer tokens โ fewer failed generations, less context burned re-explaining your backend. In production, optimized RAG fetches exactly what's needed instead of bloating every prompt, keeping costs low on every request at scale.
That efficiency sits on a genuinely open foundation. Powabase runs on real, open-source Postgres with no black boxes and no lock-in. Your data and infrastructure stay yours, and you can self-host anytime.
It's also built for speed to production. Spin up projects in seconds and ship without assembling a stack, because database, APIs, auth, storage, RAG, and agents are ready the moment you start. Those out-of-the-box abstractions โ with RAG, agents, and drag-and-drop workflows built in โ mean your team builds product instead of plumbing.
And you're never building alone: an active, open community gives you fast answers, shared patterns, and a platform that improves with every contributor.
Based on our record, Gitmore.io seems to be more popular. It has been mentiond 22 times since March 2021. We are tracking product recommendations and mentions on various public social media platforms and blogs. They can help you identify which product is more popular and what people think of it.
Every commit has a message. Every PR has a title and description. The status update already exists. It's just locked in GitHub. Who this is for: - Founders updating investors - PMs writing release notes - CEOs who want visibility without standups - Anyone who asks "what shipped?" and waits for an engineer to respond What it does: Connect your repos. Ask questions: - "What shipped this month?" - "Who... - Source: Hacker News / 7 months ago
Gitmore (https://gitmore.io) โ natural language queries across GitHub, GitLab, and Bitbucket. Instead of filtering PRs, scanning commit logs, or asking engineers for updates: - "What shipped last week?" - "Who's been working on the API?" - "Which PRs have been open longest?" - "Summarize this month's releases" Plain English in, plain English out. How it works: Connect your repos via OAuth. We register... - Source: Hacker News / 7 months ago
If you're a founder who doesn't code, you probably rely on engineers to tell you what's shipping. That works until investors ask for updates, customers want a changelog, or you just need to know where things stand. What it does: Connect your repos. Ask questions: "What shipped last week?" "What's in progress?" "Who worked on what?" Get plain English answers from your commit history. Automated reports: Schedule... - Source: Hacker News / 7 months ago
