Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing Podseeker and Codédex.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

Podseeker's answer

Gmail and Microsoft Graph APIs for sending from your own mailbox, hosted on AWS.

What makes your product unique?

Podseeker's answer

Podseeker is built around fit, not database size. It recommends podcasts for each client by Client Fit, with a fit score and a short reason, and shows booking intelligence on every show: how selective it is, who it books, and recent episodes. Pitches go out from your own Gmail or Outlook, never automatically, and follow-ups stop when a host replies.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Podseeker's answer

Most podcast tools are either a large database to browse or an automated sender. Podseeker connects the two around one question: which shows would want this guest? You get client-matched recommendations, host and producer contacts, personalized pitching in your own words, and reply-aware follow-ups in one place, for one plan at $99/month with 3 seats. Pitches to very high-fit podcasts booked at 6.2%, compared with 3.3% overall.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

Podseeker's answer

PR agencies, podcast booking agencies, and in-house PR teams who book clients or executives on podcasts every month. Authors, coaches, and consultants who pitch themselves use it too, and developers and AI agents use the Podcast Data API.

What's the story behind your product?

Podseeker's answer

Podseeker started from a simple frustration in podcast PR: most of the time goes into finding the right shows and the right contact, and most pitches go to shows that were never a fit. We built Podseeker to fix the targeting first, then make pitching and follow-up from your own inbox simple. It's independent and bootstrapped, and we build it closely with the PR teams who use it every week.
