EncryptedNote encrypts your secret in the browser before it leaves your device, the server never sees the decryption key. Share passwords, API keys, or sensitive messages via a link that self-destructs after reading. No account needed from either side.
Built because most "private" sharing tools still encrypt on their servers — meaning they hold the key. With EncryptedNote the key lives only in the URL fragment, which browsers never send to servers. We literally cannot read what you share.
XChaCha20-Poly1305 encryption. Hard delete on read. Custom expiry up to 30 days. No ads, no accounts, no data collection.

EncryptedNote's answer:
EncryptedNote uses XChaCha20-Poly1305 client-side encryption it secret encrypts in browser before leaving the device. The decryption key lives only in the URL fragment and never reaches our servers. We literally cannot read your data, even under a legal order. No account required from either sender or recipient.
EncryptedNote's answer:
Most alternatives (Privnote, OneTimeSecret) encrypt on their servers meaning they hold the key and can technically read user secret before delivery. EncryptedNote is zero-knowledge: server-side encryption is impossible because we never receive the key. Notes self-destruct after reading with no soft-delete the record is permanently gone. No ads, no accounts, no data collection.

I went back to get my second bachelors in computer science at FIU (I already have a masters in Information Systems). Honestly, I found little to no value in the college courses and decided to stop half way through the program with a 4.0 gpa. Everything is available online (and for the most part free). I recommend you check out edx.org if you want a college like structured learning format. For a paid... Source: over 3 years ago
