PingPulse's answer
PingPulse gives indie makers serious uptime monitoring without the enterprise price tag: 60 monitors and 4-minute checks on the free plan, with paid plans starting at just $1.99/mo. Alerts reach you where you already work โ Discord, Slack, Telegram and email โ and switching is painless thanks to UptimeRobot import via JSON export or even a dashboard screenshot.
PingPulse's answer
Because you get more monitoring for less: 60 monitors with 4-minute checks on the free plan, and paid plans from $1.99/mo. Alerting covers Discord, Slack, Telegram and email out of the box, and moving over from UptimeRobot takes minutes โ import your JSON export, or simply upload a screenshot of your dashboard. It's uptime monitoring built for indie makers and small teams, not enterprise procurement.
PingPulse's answer
Indie makers and small teams โ solo founders, bootstrappers, freelancers and small dev shops running side projects, client sites and APIs who need reliable uptime monitoring and instant Discord, Slack, Telegram or email alerts at a price that fits a small budget.
PingPulse's answer
PingPulse (https://pingpulse.pro) started from a simple frustration: uptime monitoring for small projects was either too limited on free tiers or priced for big companies. So we built a straightforward monitor that gives indie makers a generous free plan โ 60 monitors at 4-minute checks โ alerts in Discord, Slack, Telegram and email, and one-step migration from UptimeRobot via JSON export or a dashboard screenshot. Paid plans start at $1.99/mo.
PingPulse's answer
We don't publish details of our internal stack. What matters for users: PingPulse is a hosted web service โ nothing to install โ that runs 4-minute checks on up to 60 monitors free, delivers alerts to Discord, Slack, Telegram and email, and imports existing monitors from UptimeRobot via JSON export or a dashboard screenshot.
PingPulse's answer
We keep our customers' details private and don't publish a customer list. PingPulse is used by indie makers and small teams monitoring their sites, apps and APIs โ you can try it free at https://pingpulse.pro with 60 monitors and 4-minute checks.

Statuscake.com if you just need a simple up/down monitor. Source: over 4 years ago
I've had a great time with statuscake.com for my personal and friends sites. They've even improved custom status pages to include an automatically signed certificate too, so you can make a site like status.yourdomain.com... Test TCP connection, specific HTTP/HTTPS query etc. 5 minute intervals for free, more with paid plans. Source: over 4 years ago
I use statuscake.com for external stuff and nagios for internal. PRTG is good too. Source: over 4 years ago
I use statuscake.com for all my personal / friend sites. There seems to be no limit to number of sites to monitor for basic 5 minute intervals in the free account. Source: almost 5 years ago
