Pindrop is fully ad-free, no-login, and built from raw PAK extraction data verified against in-game state instead of crowd-sourced wiki entries — so coordinates, drop tables, and breeding combos are exact rather than approximate. The full interactive map (8,400+ markers) and the breeding calculator both work without an account, and there is no Pro tier behind any core feature. Live at https://pindrop.gg.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Speed and trust. No 800kB ad bundles, no signup wall, no upsell modals. Map markers are sourced from PAK extraction so coordinates match what is actually in the game version you are playing; competitor wikis often lag patches by weeks. Long-form guides credit upstream sources openly (ARXII-13 tiles Apache 2.0, paldb.cc, Palworld Wiki on wiki.gg) rather than scraping silently.

What's the story behind your product?

Solo-built from Ukraine starting Q1 2026. Began as a personal map for one player's Palworld save (8,400+ markers tagged by hand against PAK data), then expanded into a public breeding calculator and a guides library when other community wikis started slowing down behind ads and login walls. Funded out of pocket; no investor pressure, no monetization roadmap behind core features.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

Next.js 15 (App Router) on Vercel for SSR/edge rendering, Supabase Postgres for marker storage and per-user found/hidden state, MapLibre GL JS for the interactive map (vector tiles from ARXII-13), and Tailwind CSS for the UI. Build pipeline: TypeScript end-to-end, GitHub Actions, and an in-house Python pipeline that diffs PAK extractions against live data on each Palworld patch.

Who are some of the biggest customers of your product?

Pindrop is consumer-facing and free — no enterprise customers. Daily users include Palworld speedrunners working on any-percent and completionist routes, Twitch and YouTube creators referencing the map on-stream, and the r/Palworld community where map links circulate in farm-route threads.
