Shout out to Pinboard for making bookmarking pages and adding notes incredibly easy. They have a bookmarklet that sits on my bookmarks toolbar and if I like a page/tweet/video etc I just hit the "Add pin", enter some tags and hit enter. If it's a photo your girls took whilst location was enabled on their phone, you might be able to check the metadata of the photo. To be upfront, though, most modern phones tend to scrub this information, so it would be quite a long shot.
