I'm using a free app Pictogram (https://pictogramapp.com). It's not as feature rich as Replacicon (e.g. No online search from the app), but it works well if you just need to change an icon or two. I'm not sure if it works on Finder, but you can use Pictogram and use icon files from macOS Icons to change the app icons. Source: about 3 years ago

Pictogram is free and does the job. It doesn't work with apps from the App Store, but neither do any of the alternatives so if you want to customize those you'll have to do it manually. Source: over 3 years ago
