Physion is a free browser-based 2D physics simulator. Draw rigid bodies (circles, rectangles, capsules, polygons, gears, text and polylines), connect them with joints and springs, then simulate liquids, soft bodies and particle emitters. Boolean shape operations and a scriptable laser raycast are built in. Any object can carry a JavaScript node script, so scenes can react to collisions, measure themselves or drive their own motors.
Nothing to install: it runs in the browser, which is what makes it usable on locked-down school hardware and Chromebooks.
Free to use, with optional paid plans.

VercelWe have been using Vercel to host some of our internally developed apps that help our team run our operations on Vercel and have found it to be a very developer friendly platform. With our apps built in Next JS it is a natural fit and the dev op pipelines can quickly and easily be configured. As these are internal apps used by our team they don't need to support huge traffic volumes so pricing has been affordable for us.
Based on our record, Vercel seems to be a lot more popular than Physion. While we know about 652 links to Vercel, we've tracked only 2 mentions of Physion. We are tracking product recommendations and mentions on various public social media platforms and blogs. They can help you identify which product is more popular and what people think of it.
'time scrolling by' with alias of clock time displayed everytime 'enter'/'return' pressed[0a][0b] would seem a bit easier to do than pop-up physics demo with 'clock displaying time flying through demo virtual space[1]. Although the later is bit more visually presentable/interesting. Vercel Hobby is free for personal, non-commercial projects and is built around HTTP serverless functions and static frontends. Node.js is the primary runtime, and Vercel does a lot of Next.js-specific work for you automatically: caching pages that don't change often, running lightweight functions close to the user, resizing images, and running middleware on every request. Hobby includes 100 GB of bandwidth per... - Source: dev.to / about 1 month ago
Vercel is where JS-heavy Heroku apps land when the shape they really wanted was framework-native serverless, especially anything on Next.js. ISR caching, edge functions, image optimization, middleware, and the AI SDK all wire up automatically from the framework's build output, so the parts of the app Heroku was serving as HTTP handlers become serverless functions that don't pay for idle time. - Source: dev.to / about 1 month ago
What went wrong: The security commit added a Content-Security-Policy Header with connect-src 'self' https://*.public.blob.vercel-storage.com. The Vercel Blob SDK's client-side upload() makes a PUT to Https://vercel.com/api/blob. That domain wasn't in connect-src. The browser silently blocked the request. - Source: dev.to / about 2 months ago
A host: A host is really just a computer that stays powered on and connected to the internet with a public address of its own. When a visitor types in the app's address, their browser sends a request across the internet to that machine, the machine runs the code, and it sends the finished page back. A laptop was quietly doing both jobs during the build, the server and the only visitor allowed in; a host is that... - Source: dev.to / about 2 months ago
The short version is this: BabyChain lets you design a ComfyUI-style media chain on a canvas, then call that same chain from product code as POST /api/v1/chains/runs. Every step executes through provider APIs with server-side credentials, every state transition persists to AWS Aurora, and Vercel functions stay stateless. - Source: dev.to / 2 months ago
SimPhy - Interactive 2D & 3D Physics simulation software
Next.js - A small framework for server-rendered universal JavaScript apps
Algodoo - Algodoo is a 2D simulator freeware product designed as a physics learning tool. It was originally created by Emil Emerfeldt as part of his masterโs thesis in 2008. Read more about Algodoo.
Netlify - Build, deploy and host your static site or app with a drag and drop interface and automatic delpoys from GitHub or Bitbucket
