Features and specs

What each product offers, as listed by its team.

Photo Poodle 7 features
Modular JavaScript 5 features
  • Photo Challenges & Prompts That Actually Work
Instead of hoping guests take good photos, Photo Poodle gives them gamified photo challenges tailored to your event type. The result? Hundreds of diverse, high-quality shots without a photographer.
  • Live Photo Wall on Any Screen
Cast a real-time photo wall to a TV, projector, or any browser — photos appear the instant guests upload them. It becomes the centerpiece of your event.
  • Scan a QR Code. Start Snapping.
No app downloads, no sign-ups. Guests scan a QR code with their phone camera and they're in — ready to upload photos and videos in seconds.
  • A Gallery Everyone Can Enjoy
All uploads flow into a beautiful shared gallery. Guests can browse, react with emojis, and vote on their favorites — making photo-sharing a social experience.
  • Download Everything in One Click
When the event is over, grab every photo and video as a ZIP file — or sync them straight to Google Drive. No chasing guests for their camera rolls.
  • Your Event, Your Brand
Customize colors, upload your logo, and create branded QR code templates. For agencies, full white-label options remove Photo Poodle branding entirely.
  • Share a Beautiful Memory Album After the Event
After your event, share a stunning photo album with all your guests via a single link. It looks like a real photo book — complete with your event branding, optional password protection, and the ability for guests to download their favorites.
  • Improved Code Organization
Modular JavaScript allows developers to break down code into smaller, manageable modules. This enhances code readability and maintainability by organizing related functionality together.
  • Code Reusability
Modules encourage reusability by allowing the same piece of code to be used across different projects or multiple areas of the same application, reducing redundancy.
  • Scalability
As the application grows, managing code becomes easier with modular JavaScript. Each module can be developed, tested, and maintained independently, making the codebase more scalable.
  • Encapsulation
Modules provide encapsulation, preventing variables and functions from polluting the global namespace. This reduces the risk of naming conflicts and bugs.
  • Improved Testing
With code organized into discrete modules, writing unit tests becomes more straightforward. Each module can be tested individually, leading to more reliable and maintainable tests.

Possible disadvantages

  • Increased Complexity
Introducing modularity can add complexity to the build process, as it often requires module loaders or bundlers (like Webpack or Browserify) to manage dependencies.
  • Overhead
For smaller projects, using a modular approach might be overkill, introducing unnecessary overhead in terms of setup, configuration, and code management.
  • Learning Curve
Developers unfamiliar with modular JavaScript may face a learning curve, especially when dealing with module patterns, loaders, and bundlers.
  • Dependency Management
Relying on multiple modules can lead to complex dependency chains, making it challenging to track and resolve dependencies across different modules.
  • Performance Overhead
Modular JavaScript can introduce performance overhead if not managed properly, such as loading many small modules individually, leading to increased HTTP requests.

Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing Photo Poodle and Modular JavaScript.

What makes your product unique?

Photo Poodle's answer

Photopoodle stands out by focusing on engagement, not just collection. While most QR photo-sharing tools rely on guests to upload photos on their own, Photopoodle uses fun, real-time prompts and challenges to guide guests on what to capture. This turns passive attendees into active participants and results in a much richer, more complete event album.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Photo Poodle's answer

Most alternatives simply provide a link or QR code and hope guests upload photos. In reality, that rarely happens consistently. Photopoodle solves this by giving guests a reason to participate through guided prompts, making the experience interactive and enjoyable. The result is: More photos Better moments captured A complete album without chasing guests

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

Photo Poodle's answer

Photopoodle is designed for event hosts who want to capture authentic, candid moments without extra effort. This includes: * Couples planning weddings * Party and birthday hosts * Event organizers * Corporate event teams

What's the story behind your product?

Photo Poodle's answer

Photopoodle was created out of a simple frustration: after events, great photos are scattered across guests’ phones and rarely get shared. Even when people are asked to upload them, most forget or don’t bother. Instead of just making another upload tool, Photopoodle was built to solve the real problem — participation. By adding prompts and making the process fun, it ensures that more moments are captured and shared as they happen.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

Photo Poodle's answer

Photopoodle is built using Base44, enabling rapid development and a smooth, responsive user experience. This allows the platform to handle real-time interactions, seamless uploads, and scalable event-based usage efficiently.
