PgModeler is an open source tool that does diagramming as well as database management, including asking if you want to cascade when trying to drop tables. UI is a big quirky but once you get used to it, it’s very nice. I swear by it. https://pgmodeler.io. Source: almost 2 years ago

Is there free and open-source database/data modeling tools available? I am looking for a tool that covers both OLTP (normalized schema) and OLAP (dimensional/STAR schema) modeling. Is it at all similar to [dataedo0(https://dataedo.com/)? I tried this about 5 years ago and really liked it. Just couldn't get my company to spring for it. I loved that when the db schema was updated, you could automatically re-publish the documentation. Source: about 2 years ago
