Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing Pally and Google Keep.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

Pally's answer

Built on modern cloud infrastructure with AI for message and receipt understanding, integrated with WhatsApp and Google Drive

What makes your product unique?

Pally's answer

Pally lives entirely inside WhatsApp โ€” there's no app to download and no new login. You track expenses by typing a line or snapping a receipt, share shopping and to-do lists by @-tagging family, and send any file to have it auto-filed into your own Google Drive. Everything happens in the chat app you already use every day.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Pally's answer

Most expense and list apps fail because opening them is friction. Pally removes that โ€” logging a spend or adding a shared item is just a message. There's nothing for your family or flatmates to install, it's multi-currency, your receipts and files stay in your own Google Drive (not our servers), and it's free to start.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

Pally's answer

Busy individuals, couples, families and flatmates who want to track spending, share shopping and to-do lists, and keep receipts organised โ€” without learning or installing yet another app. Especially people who've tried budgeting or list apps before and stopped using them.

What's the story behind your product?

Pally's answer

Pally started from a simple frustration: every expense tracker and to-do app gets abandoned because you never remember to open it. So instead of building another app, we put a thoughtful assistant inside the one app people already check dozens of times a day โ€” WhatsApp. The goal is to handle the small life-admin moments that pile up, with zero friction.
