Ordus is a free property market research tool for Australia. It charts every NSW suburb's median price history from 1990 to present, ranks 8,000+ suburbs by yield, growth, days on market, sell through rate plus 60 more in a screener, estimates property values from sold comparables, and overlays macro signals like the RBA cash rate and migration directly to th chart.
Built on the NSW Valuer General bulk sales dataset (public record) plus our own scaped data. Unlike commercial alternatives that paywall pre-aggregated estimates, Ordus shows the underlying government data with proper data hygiene โ a settlement-lag filter, 3-month smoothed monthly medians, and 3ร outlier rejection. That filter fixed fake recent "price cliffs" affecting ~13% of NSW suburbs in raw published data.
Features - Per-suburb pages for every NSW suburb with full price history and FAQ - Suburb screener filterable by yield, growth, sales volume, and listing age - Property value estimator using street-level sold comparables - Macro overlays: RBA cash rate, CPI, unemployment, GDP, building approvals, migration - Free test-drive (no signup) and a full free terminal
Methodology is documented openly: https://ordusproperty.com.au/methodology

Gitmore.ioOrdus Property's answer
Within seconds of opening the terminal, Ordus lets you chart any suburb, LGA or postcode, compare them against each other and a chosen benchmark, and overlay macroeconomic factors and market indicators โ all the fundamental and technical information you need to understand a property market, on one screen.
From there you can search, rank and screen suburbs to find the ones that meet your criteria, connect with local experts in those markets, and research specific property pricing in the My Property section.
What makes Ordus unique is that it brings market intelligence, suburb screening, on-the-ground know-how and personal wealth tracking together in one visually pleasing terminal- for free.
Gitmore.io's answer:
Gitmore represents a thoughtful approach to democratizing Git repository intelligence, successfully addressing the common challenge of extracting actionable insights from complex development activities. The platformโs combination of AI-powered analysis, cross-platform compatibility, and business-friendly reporting creates compelling value for teams seeking to improve visibility into development progress without investing in comprehensive engineering analytics platforms.
Ordus Property's answer
Because Ordus gives you for free what the incumbents charge $80โ200/month to half-show you. CoreLogic and Microburbs paywall pre-aggregated estimates; the listing portals bury suburb stats under ads. Ordus puts the raw government data โ every NSW sale back to 1990 โ on a chart you can actually explore: rank 8,000+ suburbs by yield, growth, days-on-market and 60+ metrics, estimate a property from street-level comparables, and lay macro signals like the RBA cash rate straight over the price line. The same data the professionals use, charted properly, no paywall.
Ordus Property's answer
Ordus runs on free-tier, edge-first infrastructure: Cloudflare Pages and a global CDN serve the terminal, with Pages Functions + D1 handling sign-in. The real engineering is the data layer โ an automated Python pipeline that ingests and cleans primary sales records (NSW Valuer General) and market data into one consistent dataset, with settlement-lag filtering, smoothing and outlier rejection so the numbers are honest. It refreshes on a schedule to stay current and is built to extend state by state as Ordus rolls out nationally. The front-end is a fast, self-contained HTML/JavaScript terminal with client-side charting โ no heavy backend; the hard work is in the data.
Ordus Property's answer
Anyone who wants to understand a property market, not just scroll listings. Property investors hunting their next suburb, buyers' agents and mortgage brokers doing client research, and homeowners checking what their street is really worth. Ordus is built investor- and professional-first โ the same way trading terminals serve stock investors, not casual browsers.
Ordus Property's answer
One day I went looking for a way to clearly show a client how interest rates had affected property prices historically โ something to give comfort about future uncertainty. I couldn't find one. That got me thinking: why? The data is there, and as a property professional I had paid access to every tool on the market โ yet none of them offered this. So I started building Ordus โ NSW today, the rest of the country next.

Every commit has a message. Every PR has a title and description. The status update already exists. It's just locked in GitHub. Gitmore (https://gitmore.io) โ natural language queries across GitHub, GitLab, and Bitbucket. Instead of filtering PRs, scanning commit logs, or asking engineers for updates: - "What shipped last week?" - "Who's been working on the API?" - "Which PRs have been open longest?" - "Summarize this month's releases" Plain English in, plain English out. If you're a founder who doesn't code, you probably rely on engineers to tell you what's shipping. That works until investors ask for updates, customers want a changelog, or you just need to know where things stand. What it does: Connect your repos. Ask questions: "What shipped last week?" "What's in progress?" "Who worked on what?" Get plain English answers from your commit history. Automated reports: Schedule... - Source: Hacker News / 7 months ago
