Thank you for the envoyer.io recommendation - I use Laravel Forge - do you know if they have something similar. Regarding symlinks I'm not sure if you're referring to a folder somewhere on my local system - which of course will not be practical when pushing live or to remote - however one way I have been attempting to do this is to fork vendor folders and then pull using composer for the latest commit.. Laravel offers a first-party paid product to avoid this, Envoyer it's only $10 bucks a month. Envoy is also great, but won't solve your zero downtime or rollback requirments on its own. There is Laravel Envoyer (similar name, different product) which will fulfill those requirements, but it has a (small) cost attached. Source: almost 5 years ago
