What makes your product unique?

It answers the question most trackers leave to you: when can I see it from where I am? Each of the major cities has its own page listing when the ISS, Hubble, Tiangong and other satellites bright enough to see with the naked eye next cross its sky. It also has an orbit sketch that draws where a rocket launch flies over in its first orbits, from the pad, and every page says how old the orbital data behind it is, so you know how far to trust a prediction.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

People who want to look up and see a satellite: stargazers, families watching for the ISS, amateur astronomers and astronomy clubs. Also space fans following launches, teachers, and journalists and developers who need reliable satellite positions and pass times.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Orbinauts's answer

It is free and needs no account or app install. Pass times come as a page for your city that you can bookmark or subscribe to, not something you have to configure. It covers more than satellites: rocket launches worldwide for the next 60 days and the close approaches in orbit that Space-Track reports. It is in English and Spanish, the live map can be embedded on any site with attribution, and developers get a documented REST API with a free tier.

What's the story behind your product?

NASA retired its Spot the Station web pages in 2025, and the web lost its simplest answer to "when can I see the ISS from my city?". Orbinauts started as that answer: a page per city, built on the same public orbital data NASA uses. It has since grown into a live map of what is overhead, with a page for every satellite it tracks, rocket launches and close approaches in orbit.
