ProxyOrb is a free browser-based web proxy for opening public web pages without installing software or creating an account. According to ProxyOrbโs About page, requests pass through an OpenResty gateway and a Service Worker rewrites page requests in the browser. It is intended for legitimate uses such as web compatibility checks, regional QA, public-page access, and an added privacy layer.
ProxyOrb publishes a privacy policy, terms of service, support contact, blog, and Chrome extension. Its privacy policy states that it does not log browsing history or visited URLs, while limited IP logs may be retained for up to 60 days for abuse prevention.
