Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing Open Devdocs and Oprivia.

What makes your product unique?

Oprivia's answer:

Oprivia is an operational problem solver that works on both sides of a service relationship.

A property can have a sophisticated booking or property management system while its cleaning company still coordinates employees, last-minute changes, completion photos, quality issues, and rework through scattered messages. Giving the property operator another dashboard does not solve the service provider’s own operational challenges.

Oprivia connects the people commissioning the work with the people responsible for delivering it. Assignments, responsibilities, updates, evidence, corrections, approvals, and documented outcomes remain linked to the same operational case.

Operators gain visibility and control, while cleaning, maintenance, facility service, and other service businesses gain a structured way to manage and document their own work. Oprivia starts with the specific pain point and configures the required modules, roles, and workflows around it.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Oprivia's answer:

Choose Oprivia when the missing piece is not another general software system, but a practical solution to work that still falls between systems, teams, or companies.

That may be a cleaning company chasing completion updates, an operator repeatedly following up on repairs, a service provider managing last-minute changes, or a team unable to establish whether a reported issue was actually resolved.

Oprivia connects the assignment, accountable person, communication, status, evidence, review, and documented outcome. The service provider benefits directly instead of simply becoming another contact inside the operator’s software.

Implementation and pricing follow the agreed solution. Written proposals consider the required modules, roles, locations, support, integrations, and verification volumes rather than relying solely on linear per-unit pricing. Oprivia does not take a percentage of booking revenue.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

Oprivia's answer:

Oprivia serves two closely connected groups: businesses responsible for properties and guest operations, and businesses responsible for delivering the services those operations depend on.

This includes professional accommodation operators, hotels, serviced and business apartments, property managers, and multi-location portfolios. It also includes cleaning companies, maintenance providers, facility service businesses, and specialized contractors.

The strongest fit is an organization facing a specific operational bottleneck such as unclear assignments, repeated follow-ups, fragmented communication, missing completion evidence, unresolved rework, or insufficient visibility across company boundaries.

Service companies can use Oprivia to modernize their own coordination, workforce processes, quality assurance, and service delivery, not merely to receive instructions from accommodation operators. Booking platforms, tourism organizations, and software providers may also use Oprivia to close specific operational gaps without developing the entire solution themselves.

What's the story behind your product?

Oprivia's answer:

Oprivia grew out of hands-on accommodation management and a recurring observation: having software does not necessarily mean that the operational problem has been solved.

A booking could be recorded correctly while cleaning instructions, repair updates, guest requests, completion photos, and quality issues remained distributed across telephone calls, emails, spreadsheets, and messaging applications. The operator needed reliable outcomes, but the cleaning, maintenance, and service companies also needed a better way to organize their own work.

Founder Adriano Brander combined practical accommodation experience with an international background in trade compliance, process design, and controlled business operations.

Oprivia was therefore developed as a problem-solving platform: identify the actual bottleneck, involve every party responsible for the outcome, and create a controlled route from request and assignment to verified completion.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

Oprivia's answer:

Oprivia is a modular, cloud-based web application built around structured workflow and case records, role- and context-based access control, traceable event histories, photo and document evidence, review processes, and API-based data exchange where technically assessed and contractually agreed.

Specialist identity-verification technology supports document checks, liveness detection, biometric face matching, age checks, and sanctions-list screening.

The technical architecture is designed to connect operators, guests, internal teams, and external service companies around the same operational case while controlling which information and functions each participant can access. Specific programming frameworks, infrastructure components, and security architecture are not publicly disclosed.

Who are some of the biggest customers of your product?

Oprivia's answer:

Customer, project partner, and implementation names are not publicly disclosed in order to protect customer confidentiality, commercially sensitive information, and applicable data-protection obligations. References are shared only when the relevant organization has provided explicit authorization.
