Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing Open Devdocs and IntelCue.ai.

What's the story behind your product?

IntelCue.ai's answer:

We built IntelCue because we lived the problem. As founders and marketers, we spent hours every week scanning newsletters, scrolling LinkedIn, checking competitor blogs, and pulling threads from news feeds, trying to piece together what was happening in our market. The information was out there, but it was scattered across dozens of sources and buried in noise.

We tried the usual tools. Google Alerts caught a fraction. RSS readers gave us a firehose with no analysis. Expensive enterprise CI platforms felt like they were built for a different era. Clunky dashboards, manual tagging, reports nobody read.

Then came a shift. AI assistants like Claude and ChatGPT became genuinely useful for real work. We started asking ourselves: what if competitive intelligence didn't live in yet another dashboard? What if it lived inside the AI assistant you already use every day?

That's IntelCue. It monitors everything you care about. Newsletters, blogs, LinkedIn profiles, news feeds, YouTube channels, websites, patents, SEC filings. Then it uses AI to surface what actually matters: trending topics, competitive moves, keywords, and content ideas. All of it delivered directly into Claude and ChatGPT via MCP, so you can just ask.

“What are my competitors doing this week?” “What topics are trending in my market?” “Draft me a LinkedIn post about the biggest trend.”

No dashboards to check. No reports to read. Just ask, and the answer comes from your live data.

We're building IntelCue for marketing teams, product managers, founders, and anyone who needs to stay ahead of their market without spending half their week reading. Intelligence should be effortless, and it should meet you where you already work.

What makes your product unique?

IntelCue.ai's answer:

  1. MCP-native delivery Intelligence lives inside Claude and ChatGPT, not another dashboard. You just ask your AI what's happening in your market and get answers from live data. Nobody else is doing this. This is the sharpest edge.
  2. Source breadth Most CI tools focus on websites and search. IntelCue covers newsletters, Social, YouTube, Google Ads, patents, SEC filings and more in one platform. The combination of sources is unusually wide for a tool at this stage.
  3. Intelligence to action in one step Most CI tools stop at the alert. IntelCue bridges the gap into content execution - generating LinkedIn posts, ad copy, video scripts and blog ideas directly from live market trends. That last mile from insight to output is where most platforms drop the ball.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

IntelCue.ai's answer:

IntelCue is the lean, AI-native alternative to competitive intelligence tools like Klue, Crayon, Feedly, and Owler. The main difference is where the intelligence lives. Instead of another dashboard you have to remember to check, IntelCue delivers live competitive and market intelligence directly into Claude, ChatGPT, and Slack through a native MCP connection. It is built for teams that want flexible source tracking without standing up a formal competitive program. You define your own source network across 13+ types (newsletters, blogs, social media, YouTube, news, websites, patents, SEC filings, Google Ads, and Certificate Transparency logs), and the AI analyzes it and surfaces what matters. Platforms like Klue and Crayon are a strong fit for teams that need formal sales battlecards, enablement, and win-loss programs. IntelCue is the better fit if you want AI-native analysis delivered inside the tools you already use, with no analyst to hire and setup in under 10 minutes. The Certificate Transparency monitoring is also distinctive: it surfaces competitor domains and subdomains the moment SSL certificates are issued, often days before a launch goes public.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

IntelCue.ai's answer:

IntelCue is built for lean teams that need to stay on top of a fast-moving market without a dedicated analyst. The core audience is founders, product marketers, marketing and strategy teams, agencies, and consultants at startups and small-to-midsize companies. These are people who currently track competitors manually, by scanning newsletters, blogs, LinkedIn, and competitor websites before a launch or board meeting, and want that work automated and delivered to them. IntelCue fits teams that want flexible, self-defined source tracking and AI-native analysis inside Claude, ChatGPT, and Slack, rather than a heavyweight enterprise platform organized around battlecards and win-loss workflows.
