Features and specs

What each product offers, as listed by its team.

Objects 5 features
Try Conviction 8 features
  • Decentralized Object Storage
Objects.to provides decentralized storage solutions, allowing users to store data across distributed networks rather than relying on a single centralized server, which enhances data resilience and reduces single points of failure.
  • Web3 and Blockchain Integration
The platform is designed with Web3 principles in mind, making it well-suited for developers building decentralized applications (dApps) that need reliable and censorship-resistant storage.
  • Simple API and Developer Experience
Objects.to offers a straightforward API that makes it relatively easy for developers to integrate decentralized storage into their projects without needing deep expertise in the underlying protocols.
  • Content Persistence
Data stored through Objects.to benefits from content-addressable storage mechanisms, helping ensure that files remain available and verifiable over time without risk of link rot or unauthorized modification.
  • Cost-Effective Storage
Compared to traditional cloud storage providers, Objects.to can offer competitive pricing by leveraging decentralized storage networks, potentially reducing costs for developers and businesses storing large amounts of data.

Possible disadvantages

  • Limited Mainstream Adoption
Objects.to is a relatively niche platform compared to established cloud storage providers like AWS S3 or Google Cloud Storage, which means fewer community resources, tutorials, and third-party integrations are available.
  • Performance and Latency Concerns
Decentralized storage can sometimes suffer from higher latency and slower retrieval speeds compared to centralized cloud services that have globally distributed CDNs and optimized infrastructure.
  • Reliability and Uptime Uncertainty
As a smaller and newer platform, Objects.to may not offer the same level of guaranteed uptime and SLAs that enterprise-grade centralized storage providers commit to.
  • Learning Curve for Non-Web3 Developers
Developers unfamiliar with decentralized storage concepts, content addressing, and Web3 paradigms may face a steeper learning curve when adopting Objects.to compared to traditional storage solutions.
  • Limited Documentation and Support
Being a smaller platform, Objects.to may have less comprehensive documentation, fewer support channels, and slower response times for troubleshooting compared to major cloud providers with dedicated support teams.
  • Voice journaling
Just hit record to fill your journal. Your spoken thoughts become structured entries. Talk on your commute, during a walk, or at 11pm when something needs to come out. Voice transcription happens entirely on your phone. Refined for english and german language.
  • Pattern recognition
Every time you write, Conviction searches your full history to find what keeps showing up. It connects entries over months, spots recurring loops, shadow patterns, and emotional shifts you couldn't see in the moment. Powered by on-device Apple Intelligence.
  • 27 Emotions considered
Based on latest scientific research every entry can be analyzed for 27 specific emotions. Not just positive or negative, but specific: guilt vs. shame, nostalgia vs. grief, excitement vs. anxiety. Mood flow shows how your emotional patterns shift over time.
  • Four therapeutic tool categories
Each category includes multiple tools for self-guidance grounded in evidence-based approaches. CBT, DBT, somatic grounding, chain analysis and mindfulness.
  • Guided prompts
Use guided journaling prompts of multiple categories to notice recurring patterns across your entries. Conviction turns detected patterns into trackable goals.
  • Momentum, not streaks
Your momentum builds and cools gradually and never snaps immediately to zero. Miss a days, miss a week. Your progress does not reset.
  • Complete privacy
Conviction does not require a login and your journal data is encrypted with AES-256 on your device. Unlock with Face ID. All AI processing runs on-device through Apple Intelligence and fine-tuned models. iCloud backups are optional and are encrypted before they leave your phone with a key only you hold. We cannot read your entries.
  • Analytics & Insights
Mood tracking with line and area charts, Mood flow transitions visualization, biorhythm and moon phases, word cloud and frequency analysis. For each journal individually configurable. Apple Health integration optional.

Try Conviction

Overall verdict

  • Objects.to is a niche link-in-bio and personal landing page tool. It appears to offer a minimalist way to consolidate links, but it has limited brand recognition compared to major competitors like Linktree, Bio.link, or Beacons, and detailed independent reviews or long-term reliability data are scarce.

Why this product is good

  • Simple, minimalist interface for creating a single landing page
  • Likely free or low-cost tier for basic use cases
  • Quick setup for consolidating multiple links in one place
  • Lightweight alternative if you dislike bloated link-in-bio tools

Recommended for

  • Individuals wanting a very basic, no-frills link page
  • Users experimenting with alternatives to mainstream link-in-bio services
  • Small creators who don't need advanced analytics or customization
  • Those prioritizing simplicity over extensive design options

Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing Objects and Try Conviction.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Try Conviction's answer:

Conviction aims to offer the same journal capabilities via a one-time fee for the pro tier only instead of an expensive subscription. At the same time Conviction is built to never have access to the users personal data and by default asks for usage statistics via opt-in instead of making it part of the terms of service.

What makes your product unique?

Try Conviction's answer:

The combination of a full-scale journal with on-device AI capabilities without user data ever leaving the device at the fraction of the cost of other journal apps.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

Try Conviction's answer:

People who want to utilize self-reflection tools for personal growth or working through their shadow patterns, who do not want to worry about their thoughts being exposed to any external party and who also do not want to pay another monthly subscription should try out Conviction.
