PlainHub.app's answer:
Plainhub launched recently, so we do not publish customer names yet. The product is used by early-stage founders and small teams rather than enterprises, and the free demo runs the full app on a sample company if you want to see it before signing up.
PlainHub.app's answer:
Because most founders cannot use the alternatives yet. Float, Fathom and Jirav read your ledger, so they need proper bookkeeping first. Plainhub gets you a trustworthy runway number on day one instead of after a bookkeeping project. If you already have a finance team and clean books, one of those tools is the better choice, and we will say so.
PlainHub.app's answer:
You type what happens to your money in plain words, and runway, burn and MRR stay current. There is no bank login, no accounting integration and no file to upload. Every other tool in this category derives its numbers from an accounting system, which is a wall if you do not have one maintained.
PlainHub.app's answer:
Early-stage startup founders and small company owners with no finance team. People who need to know how long the cash lasts and what each hire costs, and who currently answer that with a spreadsheet that stopped being true weeks ago.
PlainHub.app's answer:
I could not answer how long my own company had left without rebuilding a spreadsheet first. Accounting software recorded the past perfectly and said nothing about the future. Bank-connected apps wanted account access and still left me to work out the one number that mattered. So I built the thing that answers it: record what happens, in plain words, and the number stays true.
