It is browser-native, you simply open a URL, chat, and close the tab. The moment the tab is closed, the session and all associated data vanish from existence. If you need a communication tool that truly has "no memory," Nullroom is the safest choice.

Nullroom didn't start with a business plan; it started with a necessity. We noticed that even "private" apps were beginning to collect more metadata and require more personal info. We wanted to build a tool that solved the simple problem of needing to talk to someone right now without worrying about where that data might live in five years. It’s a tool built for the basic human right to a private conversation.

Nullroom leverages WebRTC (Web Real-Time Communication) for direct peer-to-peer data transfers, bypassing the need for a central server. Security is handled via the Web Crypto API, utilizing high-grade encryption to ensure that messages and files are encrypted end-to-end before they even leave the sender's browser. The entire frontend is designed to be lightweight and stateless for maximum speed and security.
