WeCazza is a modern field service management platform purpose-built for home service businesses โ€” cleaning companies, landscapers, handymen, HVAC techs, plumbers, and other service professionals.

The problem: Most service businesses either cobble together multiple disconnected tools (Google Calendar + QuickBooks + spreadsheets) or pay enterprise prices for platforms built for companies 10x their size.

The solution: WeCazza combines everything in one affordable platform:

  • ๐Ÿ—“๏ธ Smart Scheduling โ€” Drag-and-drop calendar with recurring jobs and real-time crew availability
  • ๐Ÿš— AI Route Optimization โ€” Automatically calculate the fastest routes, cut fuel costs
  • ๐Ÿ’ฐ Invoicing & Payments โ€” Professional invoices with integrated Stripe processing
  • ๐Ÿ‘ฅ Customer CRM โ€” Complete profiles with service history and communication tracking
  • โœ๏ธ Estimates & E-Signatures โ€” Send, sign, and convert to jobs in one click
  • โญ Review Management โ€” Automatically request and track customer reviews
  • ๐Ÿ“ฆ Inventory Tracking โ€” Monitor stock levels and usage per job
  • ๐Ÿ”Œ Public REST API โ€” Connect to your existing tools

How it compares: - vs Jobber: More features at a lower price. AI route optimization and inventory included. - vs Housecall Pro: Built-in e-signatures, public API, and multilingual support. - vs ServiceTitan: Enterprise-grade features without enterprise pricing or contracts.

Pricing: Starter $33.97/mo | Pro $97/mo | Premium $297/mo 15-day free trial, no credit card required. Multilingual (EN/ES/PT).

Node.js features and specs

  • Asynchronous and Event-Driven
Node.js uses an asynchronous, non-blocking, and event-driven I/O model, making it efficient and scalable for handling multiple simultaneous connections.
  • JavaScript Everywhere
Developers can use JavaScript for both client-side and server-side programming, providing a unified language environment and better synergy between front-end and back-end development.
  • Large Community and NPM
Node.js has a vibrant community and a rich ecosystem with the Node Package Manager (NPM), which offers thousands of open-source libraries and tools that can be integrated easily into projects.
  • High Performance
Built on the V8 JavaScript engine from Google, Node.js translates JavaScript directly into native machine code, which increases performance and speed.
  • Scalability
Designed with microservices and scalability in mind, Node.js enables easy horizontal scaling across multiple servers.
  • JSON Support
Node.js seamlessly handles JSON, which is a common format for API responses, making it an excellent choice for building RESTful APIs and data-intensive real-time applications.

Possible disadvantages of Node.js

  • Callback Hell
The reliance on callbacks to manage asynchronous operations can lead to deeply nested and difficult-to-read code, commonly referred to as 'Callback Hell'.
  • Not Suitable for CPU-Intensive Tasks
Node.js is optimized for I/O operations and can become inefficient for CPU-intensive tasks, slowing down overall performance due to its single-threaded event loop.
  • Immaturity of Tools
Compared to more established technologies, some Node.js libraries and tools still lack maturity and comprehensive documentation, which can be challenging for developers.
  • Callback and Promise Overheads
Managing asynchronous operations using callbacks or promises can lead to additional complexity and overhead, impacting maintainability and performance if not handled correctly.
  • Fragmented Ecosystem
The fast-paced evolution of Node.js and its ecosystem can lead to fragmentation, with numerous versions and libraries that may not always be compatible with each other.
  • Security Issues
The extensive use of third-party libraries via NPM can introduce security vulnerabilities if not properly managed and updated, making applications more susceptible to attacks.

Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing Node.js and WeCazza.

What makes your product unique?

WeCazza's answer:

WeCazza is the only field service platform that includes AI-powered route optimization, e-signatures, inventory management, and a public REST API at small-business prices. Most competitors either charge enterprise rates for these features or don't offer them at all. Plus, it's fully multilingual (English, Spanish, Portuguese) โ€” built for the diverse workforce in home services.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

WeCazza's answer:

Three reasons: 1) All-in-one โ€” no need to pay for 5 separate tools. 2) AI-powered โ€” route optimization, smart scheduling, and predictive analytics are built in, not add-ons. 3) Fair pricing โ€” enterprise features starting at $33.97/mo with no long-term contracts. Competitors like ServiceTitan cost $500+/mo and lock you into annual deals.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

WeCazza's answer:

Small to mid-size home service businesses โ€” cleaning companies, landscapers, handymen, HVAC technicians, plumbers, pest control, pool maintenance, and pressure washing companies. Typically 1-50 employees, looking to replace spreadsheets and disconnected tools with one platform.

What's the story behind your product?

WeCazza's answer:

WeCazza was born from watching dozens of home service businesses waste hours every day on scheduling conflicts, paper invoices, and inefficient routes. The founder, a business performance consultant, saw the same operational pain points across every company he worked with. So he built the tool they all needed โ€” one platform that handles scheduling, payments, CRM, and route optimization without the complexity or cost of enterprise software.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

WeCazza's answer:

React, TypeScript, Node.js, Express, MySQL, tRPC, Stripe Connect, Capacitor (mobile), and proprietary AI engines for route optimization and predictive analytics. Hosted on cloud infrastructure with enterprise-grade security (Cloudflare WAF, encryption at rest and in transit).

Who are some of the biggest customers of your product?

WeCazza's answer:

WeCazza is in early growth stage, serving home service businesses in the US market. Current users include pet sitters, residential cleaning companies and home maintenance operators in the Southeast US. We're focused on building deep relationships with early adopters rather than chasing vanity metrics.
